Your life through design

Postby Duster » Sun Jul 05, 2009 6:23 pm

All our actions and our living are surrounded, helped, sustained, supported, served by pieces of furniture. From the moment you wake up n the morning to the moment you go back to sleep, you cross many rooms with different purposes and decorations, with a lot of distinct objects that help (some more and some less), and a number of functions and tasks you have to face.
I guess that there must be a thread that links all the places in our life in our preferences and lists them in our favorites, but so far I haven't decided if they are our favorites because of their atmosphere, or just because we found them along our path and encompass them in our everyday walk of life.
Breakfast corners, bars, garages, offices or studios, salons and waiting areas, restaurants and bars, coffee bars and bistros.... all these must have something in common with our inner image of comfort, cosiness, familiarity and personality.
Something has to be found in the genesis of our taste and inclination and I personally favor that top linearity stained by a pinch of vital disorder.
Which is your way of interpreting your life through design? I like this young man, Fabio Flora, and I like him a whole lot: would love to stain his lines with my total inclination to complete mess.
